Born in Derry, this award winning, Irish, indie beauty brand has a global success story to tell. Founder Deborah, describes herself as a skincare geek and Derry girl so mad about skincare that she created her own. Passed on from her wee mammy, Deborah understood the importance of a good skincare routine from an early age, but still developed hormonal acne in her 20’s. She fell hook, line and sinker for every advertising gimmick out there in a bid to manage her acne breakouts. Nothing helped. Then, on a business trip to Italy, she came across an olive oil skincare range and following a very short time of use, the difference to her skin was quite dramatic.

Being a serial learner, Deborah committed herself to understanding the science and soon came to the realisation that her bathroom shelf of very expensive skincare brands contained close to nothing that would address her skin concerns. So the switch to natural became a no-brainer and soon Deborah was formulating for herself, then for her friends & family until So27 was born late 2017.
